Historical sources on the history of Joint Freemasonry
28 August 2015
In the Masonic magazine The Builder of April 1917 Arthur Edward Waite wrote a short text on what he called “Joint Freemasonry”. The magazine can be found online here. Use control+F for “Arthur Edward Waite” to jump to the specific text. It has some references to the English Rites.
The same website also quotes Mackey’s Encyclopedia Of Freemasonry online (one of the revised and enlarged editions of later than 1920. The original version is from 1873) (it can be found on several places). This text is much longer and pretty detailed. You can read it here. Control+F to jump to “Co-Masonry”.
